Another side of the road find

I found this lovely lamp on the side of the road during bulk pickup days, it's seen better days but I knew I could make it shine again.

A few coats of Oil rubbed bronze paint, a new 20$ shade and I have a new lamp!

More bulk pickup side of the road finds.

Cute little table in great shape, the two sides lift up and it's in perfect working condition. Pretty embossed leather top that just needs cleaning.

Neat desk, the top folds down and lies flat, neat little cubbies too. Chair in perfect shape...

And I can't wait to use Annie Sloan chalk paint on this cement statue.

I drove around with my sister yesterday and we filled my truck twice...these are just some of the goodies I brought home!

Very productive day! .

I buy all my plants at a little roadside stand on the honor system. You put your money into a little hole in the barn, I love that there are so many vegetable stands and flower vendors that operate like that around here.

Today I bought 14 bushes. 5 boxwoods, two redbud and the rest evergreens. I also bought some pansies. Total 180$ that I slid into the little hole in the barn!

Here are the boxwoods planted. Only two for 25$!!! Amazing price for the size.

I'm joining Feathered Nest Friday for the first time. Lots of eye candy there!
This little chair was a garage sale purchase at 4$.

2$ can of paint, 2$ worth of pansies and a little Christmas tree store birdie for 1$. I love how it came out!
